The Boat
Wondy is our open motorboat made for enjoying the Douro together. Think cushioned seating, comfy pillows, soft blankets, shaded areas and cozy carpet underfoot — the kind of space where you quickly feel at home. Carefully chosen and personalised details, freshly prepared drinks, an epic soundtrack and open views of Porto take care of the rest. With up to 12 guests on board, there is room to share stories, move around and enjoy the river together. The river is ours.

Good to know
Each experience includes a welcome drink, selected drinks, local flavours, skipper and host, blankets, insurance, local recommendations and a few small surprises on board.
Snacks are not included as standard. The Sunset Cruise includes a Portuguese olive oil tasting. For private cruises, food and snacks can be arranged as optional extras on request, subject to availability.
Food brought by guests is not permitted on shared cruises. On private cruises, guests may bring their own food with prior approval. A cleaning fee applies and is calculated according to the number of guests in the group. The applicable fee will be confirmed in advance.
Yes. A welcome drink is included, with Porto Tonic or a non-alcoholic alternative. Selected drinks are also part of the onboard experience.

Please arrive 10 minutes before departure.
Cruises depart on time. Late arrivals cannot delay departure and are non-refundable.
Search for Douro Wonders or Douro Marina Afurada on Google Maps and head to Gate B. Porto traffic can be busy at peak hours, especially late afternoon and around sunset — please leave a little extra time.
Public parking is usually available around the marina area. Availability varies with season and day — please plan for a short walk from your parking spot.
Ask the driver for Douro Marina, Afurada. Drop-off is close to the marina entrance.
Comfortable layers, sunglasses and a light jacket for the river breeze — even in summer, sunset departures can feel cooler on the water. Blankets are available onboard if needed.
For comfort and to protect the boat’s teak deck, guests may be asked to remove their shoes before boarding or while onboard. We recommend comfortable shoes that are easy to remove.
Up to 12 guests per cruise, including infants.
Boarding requires stepping down from the pontoon onto the vessel. Guests with reduced mobility are welcome — please contact us in advance so we can help plan your visit.
River conditions can vary. If you are sensitive to motion sickness, we recommend taking your usual precautions before boarding.
Yes, families are welcome. All guests, including infants, must be included in the booking and count towards maximum capacity.
Pets may be accepted only when safe, legal and operationally appropriate. Please contact us before booking.
Yes, the Sunset Cruise departure time changes seasonally to follow the evening light.
No-shows are non-refundable.
If the experience needs to be cancelled for safety, weather, river or operational reasons, guests will be offered a reschedule or refund.
